My user experience journey began in 2014 when I joined USA Basketball where I not only performed market research, but I created KPI’s to conduct user research. Although the user experience work I performed was informal, it laid the foundation for learning how to address user’s pain points. When designing for users, I take the double diamond approach as this has served to be the most proficient and efficient model in my experience. For a more formal introduction to user experience, I completed the Google UX Design Certification during my mental health year off.
